The EA Football Club (EAFC), part of the EA Sports & Recreation Club (EASRC), organised an inaugural Racial Harmony Challenge Cup on 3 September, bringing together participants from the four races in Singapore.

 Held at Tanjong Katong Secondary School, the event had players from four teams – Singapore Indian Association, Singapore Xin Hua Football Club, Singapore Malay Football Club and EAFC – with the majority of players over 50 years old. The event brought players from different backgrounds together on the football pitch, and while there were medals won, all teams walked home winners, in the friendships and bonds forged on and off the field.
