At the 2024 Annual General Meeting on Saturday 20 April, over 200 EA members came together at the Eurasian Community House to celebrate the EA's achievements in 2023, and to cast their votes for their preferred candidates on the Management Committee for the 2024-2026 term.

The two contesting teams, led by EA President Sandra Theseira and former EA 1st Vice-President Vincent Schoon respectively, presented their visions and plans for the future. In her address, Sandra Theseira shared that it was inspiring to see more Eurasians stepping up to lead and support the EA in its mission as a Self-Help Group to help the less fortunate, strengthen community bonds, and share Eurasian culture.

Sandra Theseira's team emerged victorious in the election, and she shared her team's key focus areas for the new term: Fundraising to ensure long term sustainability of the EA's work; strengthening support systems for families in need; and nurturing a new generation of leaders.
