2022 Project Ray of Hope ceremony
The Project Ray of Hope ceremony was held on Saturday 12 November at the Eurasian Community House. 65 students from primary to tertiary levels received back to school vouchers to buy school necessities for the next academic year, and 10 secondary school students also received the Coral de Cruz Memorial Fund award to fund school fees and other necessary items for school.
Project Ray of Hope is an annual disbursement funded by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). The Coral de Cruz Memorial Fund is sponsored by Ambassador Simon de Cruz and EA Trustee Justice Judith Prakash, named after their mother, who was unable to fully pursue her ambitions in life, and they hope award recipients will make the most of the academic opportunities they are given.
