Heritage Spotlight 2023
The Heritage Sub-Committee has been actively engaged in various community events across the island throughout the year. They have showcased Eurasian dance performances and cultural booths at events ranging from celebrations of racial harmony and National Day to the One Community Fiesta and more, to promote awareness about Eurasian culture.
At the Eurasian Heritage booth at Chua Chu Kang GRC's Children's Day celebrations on 29 October. Volunteers Claudia D'Silva & John Thomas created smiles with lively Eurasian card games and shared interesting facts on Eurasian culture.
Volunteers Sophiea and Catalina Tupaz facilitated the Eurasian Cultural Booth at the One Community Fiesta @ Woodlands Galaxy CC on 5 November.

On 3 December, Sophiea Tupaz and the Beins-Au siblings Janeiro, Rio, and Laylabelle danced the Malhao Malhao at Sengkang West’s OCF. Later, Ignacio Estioco, Sophiea Tupaz, Janeiro, and Rio Beins-Au performed the Patuscada at Hougang CC.
