Students stepped into the magical world of Harry Potter at this year's Project Ray of Hope Ceremony at the Eurasian Community House on 28 October, where they were awarded vouchers to prepare for next year's school adventure. 2 students also received the Coral de Cruz Memorial Fund award to fund school fees and essential school items.

As part of the experience, recipients also became proud members of Hogwarts Houses, and brought the wizarding world to life, with Harry Potter games like Quidditch and Wizard Chess, even sitting for an Owl Wizarding Exam, and mixing their own non-alcoholic butterbeer.

Project Ray of Hope is an annual disbursement funded by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). The Coral de Cruz Memorial Fund is sponsored by Ambassador Simon de Cruz and EA Trustee Justice Judith Prakash, named after their mother.
